Education is the foundation on which MJ Lash Artistry was built. Our mission is to prepare Lash Artists with solid techniques that we have developed through the years being in the lash industries and through the trainings that we have attended.

MJ Lash Artistry is founded on the notion of helping students to bring the lash art into reality. Students are encourage to to use the gifts that they have been given to achieve their true lash skills whether it’s through hard work or natural given ability.  With over 20 years of combined experience in the lash industry, we are here to help you expand and solidify your lash techniques.  Students will be able to build a strong

foundation in mastering their tools and techniques of the lash trade.

MJ Lash Artistry embraces great lash artistry and have developed our training program to be able to custom our training to individual student’s needs so they can hit the ground running after our training sessions. The diversities in our students’ backgrounds help us expand our training methods to enable our students to celebrate their uniqueness shown through their work.

MJ trainers are continual learners…in order to be good trainers, we must be good students.

Fairy Lashbrows Owner - Annie Nguyen

Before immigrating to the United States from Vietnam in 2008, Annie completed her studies at Binh Duong University in 2004 receiving her BA in Business Administration.

Shortly after arriving in the US Annie had the opportunity to began her training as a Nail Technician. After her modest beginning in nails she found that there were so many opportunities to broaden her knowledge and utilize her desire to develop her creativity.

When Annie was first introduced to Lash Extensions she knew immediately that this was the area she wanted to specialize in. Lash Extension had such a dramatic effect on the women who came into the salon. Annie was certain this was the direction she wanted to specialize in.

Annie trained with Longmi Lashes, Borboleta as well as Hoa Beauty Lash. She spent many years training as well as developing a substantial client base where she perfected her craft. It wasn’t long before she wanted to start training others to help them expand their knowledge and utilize their creativity helping them developed their careers in the Lash Industry.

Annie is an innovator, she has streamlined many processes and simplified techniques making them quite easy for others to learn.

 

Blush Beauty Salon owner - Lyna Phuong Nguyen

Lyna transitioned into the Beauty Industry because she recognized that the services available at the time only offered women and men a narrow standardized definition of beauty. Most often at prices that were out of reach and in intimidating settings. Realizing this, Lyna made it her mission to dedicate her most profound efforts in creating an all inclusive salon where services are tailored to fit her individual clients. In an atmosphere where their individuality is celebrated. She inspires her clients to embrace their own definition of beauty.

Lyna earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Cal State Fullerton. As a continual learner, Lyna devoted a great deal of time attending seminars in order to advance her education and push forward her skills in the Lash Industry. Lyna’s passion for the beauty industry motivated her to travel the world in search of the penultimate in techniques that the industry had to offer. Building a strong foundation  was quintessential to her ability to provide the services to her clients without having to compromise the natural integrity of lashes as well a skin. Lyna prides herself in understanding each client and working with them in achieving their unique beauty. Lyna open her own Salon in April of 2013.
